Saskatoon men develop top selling iPhone app

Dec 19, 2010 | 7:25 AM

Could the world's next internet millionaire be from Saskatoon?

A pair of local men are flying high after an iPhone game they developed in their spare time made a big opening splash on Apple's App Store.

Super Stick Golf is the work of programmer, Jordan Schidlowsky, and graphic artist, Ty Bader. The pair describe their game as a two dimensional puzzle game with a soundtrack reminiscent of 1980s Nintendo games.

Since the game's release on Dec. 10, it has reached the “Top 25 Paid Apps” list in iTunes stores in four countries. On Tuesday, Super Stick Golf was #22 in Canada, #19 in the US, #11 in the UK, and and #24 in Ireland.
