Nov 14, 2012 | 6:01 AM

Two Nigerian women facing deportation from Regina will have to remain in hiding at least for now.

The growing confusion among politicians about whether or not they were entitled to be here hasn't yet been cleared up.

Speaking to reporters in Regina, Member of Parliament Tom Lukiwski says he is aware of the story and knows it is being dealt with. He maintains there are inconsistencies that have caused confusion.

It has been reported that when interviewed by immigration officials one realized she was working illegally and the other admitted to not being an eligible student.
