Team Lakeland walks away with 61 medals

The Lakeland Boys Volleyball team won the gold medal Saturday afternoon at the Saskatchewan Summer Games.

They defeated Team Saskatoon 2-0 in the championship match with scores of 25-20 and 25-17.

Other new medals of the day included golds in girl’s archery individual recurve for Baily Leach, 4 X 100m girl’s relay for Team Lakeland, equestrian individual reining coed for Karly Low, and equestrian team reining coed for Team Lakeland.

Bringing home new silvers were Regan Cannon in girl’s archery individual compound , Team Lakeland in boy’s archery team event , Blayz Dayn Verge in boys 100 m, Liam Peters in boys 110 m hurdles and triple jump, Team Lakeland in the boy’s 4 X 100 m relays, Kiefer Paul in boy’s discus, Kayla Donohue in equestrian individual barrel racing coed, Kelsey Gayle Cartier equestrian individual reining coed, Team Lakeland in equestrian team barrel racing coed and triathlon individual sport relay 14 and 15 mix.
