Team Lakeland dominates in Track and Field

Team Lakeland racked up the medals in track and field on Thursday at the Saskatchewan Summer Games.

The district reached the podium nine times lead by Prince Albert's Katelyn Lehner who won gold in the 100m sprint, 100m hurdles and long jump.

Team Lakeland finished 1,2 in the boy's pentathlon with  Adam Tilford of Big River winning gold and Naicam's Logan Kreutzwieser taking the silver. Ty Pederson of Melfort struck gold in the boy's high jump.

 Blayz Dayn Verge won silver in the 100m sprint, Liam Peters took silver in the 110m hurdles and Jessica Buettner claimed silver in shot put.
