Mounties probe sudden death near Big River

The search for a missing Big River First Nation man has ended in tragedy.

RCMP said Tuesday the remains of a 51 year old man were discovered in a wooded area near the man’s home last Friday.

The man had been missing for ten days before the local search team discovered his body.

No foul play is suspected in the death at this time, and an autopsy has been ordered, with the results still pending.
