UPDATE: Thunderstorm watch for PA; Tornado warning lifted for Saskatoon.

Environment Canada has put a severe thunderstorm watch for Prince Albert and surrounding areas.

As well there remains a tornado warning for areas around Saskatoon, but not the city itself.

Scattered, slow moving thunderstorms capable of producing funnel clouds or tornadoes have formed  around Kerrobert, Biggar, Wilkie and Saskatoon. The weather agency said storms are continuing to develop on a line west and south of the city.

Brief tornadoes were reported earlier this afternoon from similar cells near Plover Lake, south of Wilkie and north of Biggar. Quarter sized hail has been reported at Luseland. Heavy rain also possible with these storms

The weather agency says people should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions.
