PAPS report

The Prince Albert Police Service responded to 217 calls over the weekend with 41 people being taken into custody. Twenty of those arrests were a result of public intoxication.

There were several calls due to willful damage and thefts from motor vehicles. Police said the people responsible were breaking the windows of the vehicles and stealing any visible valuables.

Police would like to remind the public to call the police immediately if they see any suspicious activity. They also say it is important to record items with a serial number, which will help them with the investigation should the item become stolen.
