Update for Carlton Court crash

Apr 12, 2012 | 11:00 AM

The driver of a truck that allegedly rammed another vehicle into the Carlton Court strip mall last month has made another appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Evan J Sproxton, 26, looked visibly nervous as his lawyer, Peter Abrametz Jr, argued to have the matter adjourned for one week and have Sproxton remanded to the Saskatchewan Hospital in North Battleford.

However the presiding judge did not agree and Sproxton will instead be remanded to a correctional facility.

Results of a psych report that was ordered following the arrest have also come in, and counsel for both sides will have a chance to look it over before returning next week for a bail report hearing.
