Court case delay frustrates father

The father of a boy who died in foster care is frustrated over delays in the court system.

Evander Daniels died in June, when he was 22 months old. He was living in a foster home near Aberdeen when he drowned in a bathtub. When he was found, his body was covered in scald-type burns.

Eunice Wudrich faces charges relating to the death, but her case has been delayed again. A date for preliminary hearing won't be set until late January at the earliest.

Chris Martell is Daniel's birth father. He's still waiting for answers into his son’s death.

Martell said he has been contacted by Bob Pringle, who, according to Martel, is promising to overhaul the foster care system.
