Montreal Lake man arrested after robbery spree

An 18-year-old man from Montreal Lake named Joshua Shore has been busted after a series of robbery attempts, and now faces numerous charges.

In each of the incidents, the suspects were wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.

Regina police responded to three separate reports with similar descriptions Jan. 24, including one of two men approaching a Petro Canada on Fleet Street in the east end of Regina around 2:30 a.m.

The clerk was able to lock the doors before they could get in.

Just minutes later police received another report about the robbery of a convenience store in the 1700-block of Dewdney Avenue East in Regina, when two men entered with a long-barreled gun.

They got some cash and other items before leaving.

The third and final incident happened around 3:45 a.m. in the 4200-block of Albert Street, when three males entered with a long-barreled firearm which they used to strike the clerk.

The men took cash and items before fleeing, and the clerk was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police eventually caught up with Show who now faces charges which include robbery, robbery with a weapon, obstructing police, possession of stolen property, pointing a firearm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, disguise with intent, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
