Prince Albert Bears forward Kaitlin Willoughby finished the Macs tournament in Calgary this week with a special honour.

The 16- year-old had three goals and one assist in the four games at the tournament and was named the Bears game star in two of those games.

“It is a great accomplishment to be chosen as an All Star from many outstanding players,” said coach Jeff Willoughby in a press release. “Her play reflected her selection on the All Star team. Other Bears also had a great week.”

Kaitlin Willoughby was happy about the award but said she would trade it for a Macs championship banner any day.
