The head coaches of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Montreal Alouettes have addressed the media to kickoff Grey Cup week in Edmonton.

Everything from their futures, their season, even sex came up in the annual news conference.

Riders head coach Ken Miller was quizzed on his reaction to and the motivation the team can gain from the heartbreaking loss to the Montreal Alouettes in last year’s CFL championship.

He believes using last year's disapointing loss as motivation is “shallow intellectually”.

As for the teams themselves, it was Alouettes head coach Marc Trestman who says the Riders will be a much better offence this year with Weston Dressler in the lineup. Dressler missed the 2009 Grey Cup after suffering a broken leg late in the season.

Both coaches were asked to address speculation about their futures as head coach of their respective teams. Trestman took the most exception to the question, saying it was a week to talk about these two teams, this game and the league.

Miller, meanwhile, says he will discuss his future with his wife after the season and then the team before deciding whether to end his tenure after three season.

Trestman and Miller both started their head coaching careers in the CFL three years ago.

Every year the coaches are asked what their thoughts are on if they’ll allow their players to have sex during Grey Cup week. Both agreed they’ll allow them to “do what’s worked for them.”
