Boil water advisory remains in effect

Nov 24, 2010 | 11:30 AM

It could be a few more days before a boil water advisory is lifted in the Prince Albert area.

On Tuesday, a contractor accidently dug up one of the main water distribution lines.

The affected areas are Muskoday on the east side, across to MacDowall on the west, and north of Prince Albert for a few kilometres.

If test results come back early, a spokesperson with the Prince Albert Rural Water Utility said the advisory could be lifted Thursday afternoon, but Monday is more likely.
