Nov 22, 2010 | 3:29 PM

Two youths serving sentences at the Prince Albert Youth Residence were in court Monday after a failed attempt at escape.

The court heard that on Sunday, Nov. 21, at approximately 7:40 p.m., the two youths decided to attempt an escape of the facility.

The two left through the front door and attempted to make it towards Prince Albert. Workers at the facility eventually noticed the pair was missing and police were contacted.

The two were eventually caught near the Mary Nesbitt Campground and held in custody until Monday morning.
