RCMP officer charged with assault makes court appearance

An RCMP officer charged with assault on his wife made his first appearance in court today.

Earlier this month Rosetown RCMP were called to a home after receiving a complaint of an assault.

Officer Ron Robinson, a corporal with 10 years of service, was then charged.

The case has been adjourned to Dec. 13 in Rosetown.
