Nine dead in highway crashes

Highway 16 remains closed east of Yorkton, after a collision which has left three people dead.

A vehicle heading westbound just east of Saltcoats moved over to pass a car when it collided head on with a vehicle heading in the other direction.

All three vehicles became tangled.

It happened around 11:30 Sunday morning.

Also this weekend near Moosimin six people were killed after a collision between an SUV and pickup truck.
