A Prince Albert man has taken responsibility for the death of his six-month old son in Lloydminster.
James Andrew Larose pleaded guilty to manslaughter Friday during a court appearance at Battleford Court of Queens Bench.
Larose was living and working in the border city when his son died.
He was arrested and charged with 2nd degree on March 24, 2009, after Lloydminster RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 call involving the baby’s death.
Larose will be sentenced Feb.18.
