Two Miles for Mary brings in $22,500 and a new car

Sep 30, 2011 | 6:35 AM

This morning was the annual “Two Miles for Mary” broadcast on 900 CKBI.

It is a fundraiser for the Prince Albert senior's transportation Program and was held at the Heritage Centre from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for people to come by for breakfast and to donate.

The two-hour event brought in $22,500 and a 2011 Chevy Cruise was donated.

The transportation program gives rides to seniors so they can get to doctor's appointments and social functions in town and in Saskatoon.
