Raiders to due battle in Swift Current

Nov 12, 2010 | 8:51 AM

The Raiders head to Swift Current tonight hoping to end a two game slide against the Broncos.

Prince Albert is coming off Wednesday night’s 5-2 loss to Seattle. The Thunderbirds broke the game open with three unanswered power play goals in the second period – two of them after unnecessary penalties.

The Broncos have the fifth best power play in the WHL at almost 21 per cent. The Raider penalty kill has struggled all season, sitting at just under 75 per cent, and only four for its last eight.

Mark McNeil remains hot with points in six straight games. He also had two goals and an assist in a 5-4 win in Swift Current back on Oct. 1.
