Sask. Roughriders’ quarterback Durant says it’s “Miller time”

The Saskatchewan Roughriders' quarterback expects the team's station will be improving after the firing of its offensive co-ordinator and head coach.

Doug Berry and Greg Marshall were let go on Friday. Some have speculated that quarterback Darian Durant and Berry simply didn't get along.

Durant insisted his relationship with the two coaches was fine and stressed that the rotation of receivers that have come and gone this year prevented the offence from really clicking.

“That kind of led directly to some other mishaps and bad plays and things like that on the field,” explained Durant. “It’s a sad situation and he’s a great guy but it’s Miller time.”
