Aug 18, 2011 | 5:10 PM

A man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after escaping from the Riverbend Institution in Prince Albert, is back in custody.

Thirty-one-year-old Christopher Gibson was arrested in Regina on Thursday without incident.

Earlier this week he was believed to be in the Calgary area.

Gibson was serving a three year sentence for several offences including illegal possession of a firearm and theft. He fled the Prince Albert facility back in May.
