Saskatoon’s decision on curbside recycling delayed

Aug 18, 2011 | 11:58 AM

Don't expect to have a City of Saskatoon run curbside recycling program at your doorstep any time soon.

City Council is postponing a decision for at least two months.

Mayor Don Atchison said the delay came after a notice of motion was put forward by Councillor Tiffany Paulson.

“She wanted to see that, in fact, there are different combinations allowed that people can put an application or bid in just to do the processing of newspaper and cardboard,” explained Atchison.
