Nov 10, 2010 | 3:49 PM

An inquest into the death of an inmate from the Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert will be held on Nov.15 in Saskatoon.

Larry Richard Black, 51, died on Feb. 22, 2009, at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

At the time of his death, Black had been serving a sentence at the federal prison and had been transferred to the Regional Psychiatric Centre in Saskatoon.

Under the Coroners Act, inquests are automatic when involving the death of an inmate, unless the coroner is satisfied that the person's death was of natural causes and was not preventable.
