Riders play spoiler and eliminate Eskimos from playoffs

Darian Durant threw 345 yards for one touchdown and ran in another as the Saskatchewan Roughriders (10-8) snapped a four game losing streak with a 31-23 win over the Edmonton Eskimos (7-11) Saturday at Mosiac Stadium.

The win eliminates the Eskimos from a playoff spot and means the Riders will host the (7-11) B.C. Lions in the West Semi final on Nov. 14  in Regina.

On a side note. Rider's wide receiver Andy Fantuz became the CFL leader in receiving yards (1380). He had five catches for 77 yards and one touchdown – and became the first Canadian since Calgary's  Dave Sapunjis to lead the league in receiving
