Flood relief concert to be held in Saskatoon

Flooding ravaged many areas of the province and the Red Cross is putting on a flood relief concert in Saskatoon, to benfit Saskatchewan flood victims.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Third Avenue United Church. Tickets are $20 with a 100 per cent of the proceeds going to those affecting by flooding.

Featured at the show will be Juno winner and Canadian folk singer Connie Kaldor, Brad Johner, Jay Semko, Carrie Catherine, Jeffery Straker and Stephen Maguire.

Richard Kies with the Red Cross said people have been giving generously to the organization.
