Saskatchewan RV dealership named third best in North America

A Saskatchewan RV dealership has been named the third best recreational vehicle dealer in North America.

Minard's Leisure World in Weyburn has also been presented with an award for customer service. Both honours come courtesy of K-Z Recreational Vehicles.

Susan Minard, sales manager for Minard's Leisure World said they are estatic about the award, but that it's all about teamwork.

“We have an outstanding staff here and it's a huge team effort — right from our detailers who keep the units looking clean, to our sales people, to our service — so it's just a big team effort and we're really, really excited about it,” said Minard.

The criteria for the sales award involves professionalism, best practices, consumer care, association activities and civic involvement.

The business has received awards from KZ RV in the past, but Minard said it's nice to be able to continue that tradition.

In a news release Andy Baer, vice president of sales and marketing for KZ, said Minard's represents the brand and the products well.

“We're proud to have them in our dealer family and they truly earned this award,” the KZ statement read.

Minard said the two awards are important because it shows they have both sides of their business covered.

“It's not just the sales, but it's looking after people. And that's our prime goal, to make sure they buy here they're looked after in the future as well,” said Minard.
